In 1980 G.G. and Amoret Cain, both natives of Collin County started a custom home building company that has become one of the most highly respected companies in the area. Son Shannon Cain joined the company in 1996. Daughter Crissy Clay, a CPA, joined the company in 2004 as Office Manager. In 2007 Shannon’s wife Anne Pfeiffer-Cain became the company Photographer and website manager. The GG Cain Company is a true family owned and operated business. In addition to family, The GG Cain Company uses many of the same subcontractors and suppliers with whom the company initially began.

G.G. & Amoret Cain
GG is a Collin County native and has been involved in building all of his adult life. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Amoret was also born and raised in Collin County. Like most of her family she has worked in the real estate industry for many years. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from North Texas State University.
Building under the same company name for 30 years, GG and Amoret have weathered the up’s and down’s of the industry. GG and Amoret have been able to rise above the industry cycles through conservative business practices and an ability to not lose site of priorities. Through involvement with friends, family and community GG and Amoret have nurtured a successful marriage for 43 years; they are blessed with two children and five wonderful grandchildren. Together they set an example of giving back to the community.

Shannon Cain
Shannon is a fifth generation Collin County native and a third generation builder. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from the School of Engineering Technology, Texas A&M University Class of ‘92.
He worked in Austin 1993 thru 1996 on a residential remodeling team, married Anne Pfeiffer-Cain in 1996, moved home to McKinney and joined the family business. Anne and Shannon are raising three beautiful little girls.
Following in his Mom’s and Dad’s footsteps; Shannon stays involved in the community.
